6th Commission to Commission (C2C) meeting

Ambassador Jean-Baptiste Natama, Chief of Staff of the African Union Commusion (AUC) and Ambassador Gary Quince, Head of EU Delegation to the African Union

What : i) The Commission to Commission (C2C) meeting in Addis Ababa will be a key opportunity to review the results of EU-Africa cooperation and assess future priorities.

ii) The C2C will discuss issues of Peace and Security, Infrastructure and Energy, trade and regional integration, climate change and other topics within the Partnership.

iii) The 4th Africa-EU Summit will be held in April 2014 in Brussels and the Commission to Commission meeting will kick-start the preparations and identify priority topics.

The African Union and the European Union will hold their 6th Commission to Commission (C2C) meeting on 25th and 26th of April 2013 here in Addis Ababa, with Commissioners from the two Unions participating under the co-chairs of Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission and European Commission President José Manuel Barroso.
