Applications including a cover letter, curriculum vitae, copies of diplomas (original copies of diplomas will be asked of candidates called for an interview), and three letters of recommendation should be sent by electronic mail (e-mail) before March 25, 2012.
Capacity enhancement, operational research, high-level policy dialogue and advocacy on issues related to developmental Governance as well as advisory services are at the heart of AGI’s mandate. The Training Assistant will strengthen the capacity of the Institute to run high level programs in a period of rapid opening of its portfolio of training.
The Training Assistant is bound by obligations of confidentiality and discretion.
It is expected, among other things, from the Training Assistant, that he / she will play a key role in strengthening the implementation capacity of AGI by helping to : manage the key activities of its capacity development training programs ; prepare all meetings related to the activities within his/her areas of responsibility ; maintain a training database ; update and feed the database ; maintain contact with resources persons and participants of AGI’s various activities ; manage, on behalf of the Institute, the various partnerships he/she will be assigned, including institutional partnerships ; produce activity reports ; ensure the updating of website pages related to activities under his/her responsibility and verify the accuracy of the information contained therein, and perform on behalf of the Institute, travel as part of its programs.
