The aim of Africa Governance Institute’s documentation center is to share, develop, disseminate and diffuse relevant documentation and leading information on Governance in Africa.
Mainly bilingual (English and French) and multi-disciplinary, the Center’s resources are made up of audiovisual records, national and international institutional documents, reference documents and publications on Governance in Africa. These are classified by topics.
It works on two spaces:
virtual space (on wich you are currently) provides large documentary resources (over 600 documents) freely available online;
a physical space, intended to welcome public.
Equipped with multiple computer workstations with web access, it has the particularity to offer a comfortable environment. Key resources are available, especially those that we do not have the ability to deliver online:
recently published books and other specialized publications;
access to banks of ebooks and following portals:
- l’Harmatheque, Ebooks catalogue of the publisher l’Harmattan,
- OARE, Online Access to Research in the Environment.
The catalogue is available on the online documentation center.
