Dissemination and Diffusion

AGI simultaneously plays a requiring role in promoting historical memory, capitalization and diffusion of relevant information.

1- The Website and the Online Documentation Center aim to support the dissemination of information, innovative practices, strategic researches and solutions suited to the Governance issues which African States and Societies face.

More specifically, the objectives are to:

- Disseminate information and current thinking on Developmental Governance in Africa;
- Provide a dialogue platform between stakeholders;
- Enable the sharing of relevant information on Governance in Africa;
- Develop and reinforce common practices in different sectors of Developmental Governance in Africa;
- Host a mapping of institutions and a thematic database of experts in Governance in Africa.

The Online Documentation Center is meant to complement the website by:

- Capitalizing and developing historical records and relevant information on Governance in Africa;
- Documenting and disseminating knowledge and practices on Governance in Africa;
- Identifying and making available to those interested, institutional documentation related to Governance in Africa.

2-The Dissemination/ Diffusion is also accomplished through AGI’s publications (Proceedings, Seminars and Workshops reports, Working notes, monographs, collective publications, Newsletter,…).

One of these publications, the Report on the state of Democratic Governance in Africa, will have the particularity to highlight the innovations in the field of Developmental Governance, as observed in African Countries.
